Our story
Every great harvest begins long before the first shoot breaks the soil. It begins with patience, with knowledge passed from hand to hand, and with people who believe the work is worth doing well.
roots.farm was born from that belief. We are building a farming app that puts growers first: a place to plan your fields, track your seasons, learn from one another, and turn hard-won experience into shared wisdom. Whether you tend a backyard plot or a hundred acres, you deserve tools that respect your time and understand your land.
But we will not build it alone. The best tools are shaped by the people who use them every day, and that is why we are inviting you in now, before launch.
Why support us now
Shape the product. Early supporters help decide which features come first. Your feedback goes directly to the people building the app.
Grow with a community. Connect with growers who share your challenges, your questions, and your love of the land.
Get first access. Supporters will be the first to try roots.farm, with early-access invitations and founding-member recognition.
Back something independent. Your support helps us stay focused on what matters to farmers, not on what sells to advertisers.
What we’re building
- Field and crop planning that adapts to your land, your climate, and your calendar
- Season tracking to record what worked, what didn’t, and why
- A shared knowledge base where growers exchange practical, field-tested advice
- Local connections linking growers, buyers, and neighbours who care where their food comes from
Our promise
We will build in the open. We will listen before we decide. And we will never forget that behind every field is a person who works hard and deserves honest tools.
